Okay, enough of this sappy talk and onto my post today. I know it is a bit late for this post, but I really wanted to share what I received this year. Plus it's another reason for me to relive my favorite time of the year!
The first gift I received this year was from one of my friends. In fact, I even tried it on for her before hand because I saw her buying it at the mall on Black Friday. Hehe, I was pretty shocked when I saw her at forever 21 and even more surprised when she told me she was buying a gift for me. She showed me the blazer and asked me to try it on! The blazer is super cute and I love the way it looks on me. (It looks odd in the photos only because I am not the best photographer, but trust me when I say it is really cute in person! I tried hanging the blazer, but that did not work.. I think I need a mannequin for it hehe.) The shoulders are padded and when I put it on, I feel quite professional and put together!
Inside the box, there were lots of items! The first item that caught my eye was the box of lens cleaning wipes. Knowing me, she knew that my glasses are always a bit on the dirty side, so she picked these up for me hehe. It looks very nice and works well too! Plus not only can I use them on my glasses, but I can use them for my camera as well! =) I also got lots of twix and a pack of gum. One of my favorite candies is twix and she got so much for me! Yay!!
I actually thought those three items were all, but on the bottom of the stack of items was a little box. I did not expect anymore things, but when I opened the box, I saw the cutest necklaces!! I am a sucker for cute things and I was in love with these necklaces the moment I saw them.
The first necklace is a chain with several charms at the end. My favorite charm on that necklace is the Eiffel tower. It is adorable and perfect for me since I do hope to be able to travel there when I am older!
The second necklace is the most adorable thing ever. It's a very nicely made gold colored chain and right at the end of this necklace was a beautiful bow charm. I really love both of these necklaces. They are so dainty and cute!
All these items were under $10!! Can you believe it!?
The brushes are neatly organized inside.. =)
The next item I also got in the mail. I personally consider it a present hehe. It is from luuux who ran a giveaway for the top posters on their site. It was their gift to us for making the site amazing and I really appreciate them doing that for us. I have been a member of luuux every since I heard a beauty guru recommending it to us years ago. (think 3+ years ago) I've gotten two prizes from them before- Ugg heels (yes uggs make heels!) and a samsung tablet!! Since then, luuux has changed their site a bit so that prizes are no longer offered. Instead, they offer giftcards which can be used to purchase anything you want. I like this concept more because now I have the freedom to get what I want with what I earn!
I definitely will be reviewing these brushes as soon as I can!!
This is probably the most awesomeness and unexpected gift I received this Christmas. I got a mini tablet from my cousins! I honestly did not expect such a wonderful gift and I am really thankful for it. They also invite me to their house during vacation (even though I am a pain to live with) and they make on so many fun vacations. I would be happy to go there and not receive a gift which is why I am so shocked that I got something so nice from them. I really love them and their kids!!
The animals stickers are there to cover my information =)
I actually feel bad now because I have yet to get my card sent out, but I promise to by this weekend! I already have everything, but the envelope! From what I researched online, I think it takes about a month to send letters internationally and that everything inside has to be flat for it to be sent. (That makes getting a gift so difficult. I wish I could just go and deliver a gift personally hehe!) If you are reading this right now, Thank you so much for the card and pictures!!!
This Christmas has been one of the best ones! I loved being able to see my family and connect with others. Plus the gifts are just so much fun! I am really thankful for everything I got and I hope you guys had a wonderful holiday as well!
What was your favorite thing about the holidays?
How did you guys spend New Years?
Would you like me to review any of the face products I have shown here? If so, which ones?
